Hetherington Group Continues Commitment to Hire Transitioning Military

February 24, 2025 Wanaque, New Jersey – Hetherington Group is proud to welcome Alex DuBay to the company as a Senior Technical Instructor and Curriculum Developer for the HG Training. This newest hire highlights Hetherington Group’s commitment to hire transitioning military to support customers in the government and military.

Prior to joining Hetherington Group, Mr. DuBay spent 10 years in the U.S. Army, including seven years in Special Operations within Psychological Operations. His expertise lies in integrating cyber capabilities into real-world applications, leveraging Publicly Available Information (PAI) for intelligence and operational effectiveness. Through his experience, Mr. DuBay developed both physical and digital solutions to meet mission-specific requirements. Additionally, he served as an instructor, designing and teaching courses on conducting open-source research and effectively utilizing PAI. He holds a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity with a concentration in forensics and penetration testing.

Through this strategic hire, Hetherington Group further expands its instructor and curriculum development team to focus on its military and government clients’ needs. It bolsters the HG Training training team with expertise in PAI data integration and open-source research in a military setting.

As HG Training continues to develop open-source intelligence training for tomorrow’s workforce, Cynthia Hetherington, Founder and CEO stated, “With Alex joining the HG Training team, we are moving toward a full rollout of the OSINT Pathways to meet the needs of all our customers.
